Branch out to other organizations I have heard of but never had the opportunity to work with.

Days for Girls Internship

Last semester I got to intern for Days for Girls , an organization that aims to reduce period poverty by creating reusable menstrual hygiene kits. Helped facilitate large-scale sewing events where volunteers assembled hygiene kits to be distributed domestically and internationally. I learned a lot about the issue of period poverty and ways that the community can get involved to mitigate the issue
